A very warm welcome to the Ise Valley u3a website. Situated in Kettering, Northamptonshire, Ise Valley was formed in 2005 and is one of two u3as serving the Kettering & District area.
Our Monthly Meetings are at the Eden Centre, Kettering, on the second Wednesday of the month, doors open at 1:15pm for coffee, discovering what's new with our groups and socialising. We normally have a speaker and finish at about 3pm.
We are a very friendly organisation whose activities are focused on a number of interest groups. These are organised and led by our members. Subjects covered vary considerably and can be seen by selecting "Groups" from the top Menu. We also run various trips to places of interest and shows.
u3a membership is not related to a specific age but to a period in life (the third age) after the second age of full-time employment and parental responsibility. Anyone in their third age can join u3a and this includes people who are working part time.
